2021 Teacher Professional Development Workshops

ORAU is offering many FREE Virtual Teacher Professional Development sessions this June. Times listed are in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

This summer, we will have both in-person and virtual workshops. Please read closely to ensure that you are choosing the type of workshop that you intended. Check out the calendar as you register.

Please register for the sessions you will attend below. After you have completed your registration you will receive a confirmation email.

To illustrate your commitment to your professional development, you will be provided with a certificate of completion after filling out a short evaluation for each session that you attend. All virtual session certificates will be emailed within 2-3 business days.

Before leaving to come to ORAU, participants must ask themselves the following questions. If an answer is “yes,” the participant must not attend the PD. Participants will be asked to record their answers to these questions upon arrival at ORAU.

  1. Have you or anyone living/visiting with you currently or in the last 14 days, been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19?
  2. Have you or anyone living/visiting with you tested positive for COVID 19 or instructed to self-quarantine?
  3. Are you or anyone living with you/visiting currently or in the last 14 days experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat? Additionally, have you or anyone living with you/visiting had a fever, chills with or without shaking, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, any nausea, vomiting or diarrhea in the last 14 days?
  4. You must take your temperature before reporting to a PD session at ORAU. Was it elevated at or above 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit?
