2023 TSB Volunteer Registration

Welcome to the Tennessee Science Bowl Volunteer Registration. Preparations are underway for hosting an in-person event for 2023. We maintain the right to pivot to a virtual format. Please take time to complete this survey to share your preferences for volunteering this year.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all participants. 

TSB staff, volunteers, and participants will adhere to the Health and Safety Plan provided by ORAU and policies and requirements provided by the hosting facilities.

Currently, there are no restrictions and requirements in place. 

** Masks will be available for anyone who wants to wear one.

Pellissippi State Community College (PSCC) promotes a safe campus for learning and working.  To that end, those who generously volunteer their time to assist with the various programs offered to the community are subject to a background check requirement. The confidence and trust the community places in PSCC is a tremendous responsibility.  Having a criminal background does not necessarily prohibit someone from working at PSCC or volunteering.  Pellissippi State Community College will consider each background check individually and the nature, recency, and the frequency of the offense/s.  The shared goal of both PSCC and TSB is to ensure the safety of minors who participate in our programs. 

Volunteers who will serve on Saturday, February 25th at PSCC will be required to be checked and cleared through the National Sex Offender public website, the Tennessee Felony Offender Registry, and the Tennessee Department of Health's online Abuse Registry prior to participation.
